Edward Stubbs from Coventry University, UK has won Best Lifestyle Interior at the Interior Motives Design Awards 2007. Stubbs bold concept vehicle design called the Rebel, focuses on personalisation and takes inspiration from internet and urban youth culture. The car features custom 'mix and match' OLED panels that can display downloaded wallpapers and allows passengers to play multiplayer games in it's flexible and spacious interior.

Stubbs describes the Rebel as 'myspace on wheels' and the car is designed to be connected to the internet enabling features such as instant messaging and movie downloading. The front seats can be flipped and re-arrange to turn it's interior into a social space.

Runner up was Stephan Suslayev, from the Ural State Academy of Architecture in the Russian Federation. Suslayev''s Aquaterra Amphibian ATV is a multi-function ground and sea vehicle with striking lines and a dynamic form. It comprises of a lightweight waterbike that cruises over water and can dock with a wheeled chassis enabling it to travel on land as a car. With simple motorcycle-like controls, the vehicle is easy to drive on both terrain and with it's pivoting frame the craft can lift to carry an
extra passenger behind the driver.

Second runner up was Pierre Sabas from Royal College of Art, UK with three concepts designed for the 'Silver Generation' – people who are aged fifty five and above. Sabas's iD concept resembles an enhanced wheelchair that makes use of curves to achieve a modern and elegant look. The vehicle enhances the appearance of the user by reflecting colours worn by the occupant within its cabin.

The AR.WAV is a countryside mobility vehicle with classic looks and takes inspiration from natural huts. The vehicle features large windows that are designed to frame the views outside. Finally, Sabas's GENE Concept is a vehicle with a customisable interior that has parts that can be purchased depending on the lifestyle of the user. Different arrangements of internal furniture are available for small families, couples and groups of friends.
