Porsche Plant, Leipzig, Germany Porsche’s Leipzig production plant will play host to the 2007 Automotive Manufacturing Solutions Europe conference at which leading executives, plant managers and engineers will debate the industry’s most pressing issues. More than 30 leading figures in automotive manufacturing will discuss the current state and the future of automotive manufacturing with an audience including some key executives at a time when the European industry faces more pressure than ever from legislation and low cost economies.
The event also includes a rare chance to visit three of Europe’s most advanced car plants. As well as the Porsche plant, technology-focused tours of BMW’s Leipzig plant and the VW/Bentley plant in Mosel will be available. Topics of the conference cover all aspects of automotive manufacturing, including production in emerging markets, the role of automation, materials and environment concerns and pressures. Delegates are also invited to attend a networking dinner and have the opportunity to experience Porsche’s high-speed test track.
